Not all superheroes wear capes. Some are volunteers!
Do you enjoy working with young people? We need YOU as a volunteer! Be a valuable part of Aspire For Greatness' mission to impact the next generation.
Volunteers Are Superheroes!
There are multiple ways to use your time and talent to impact the youth at Aspire For Greatness' older youth programs.
Volunteers are needed in the mentoring program as one-to-one mentors meeting with mentees at times and places that work best, as well as in the structured daily group mentoring program that runs after school and during the summer. Additional areas volunteers are needed include providing a light evening meal, homework help/tutoring, and special events.
Volunteers must be 19 years or older, fill out an application, and be able to pass a background check. Mentors will receive training, resources, and support from Aspire staff. No experience is required to volunteer at Aspire for Greatness.
Please see below all of the options for volunteering and consider signing up to be a part of Aspire's mission through volunteering.
Provide Dinner
Once A Month
Aspire offers a free optional light evening meal to program participants to help combat food insecurity in our community. Sign up to provide this meal for program participants once a month (or more if you'd like).
The dinner can be simple and needs to feed approximately 15-20 youth.
This is the perfect option for groups to sign up for a day and take turns providing the meal.
High School - Life Skills
Sign up to share a life skill or life experience with the Aspire high school students. Sign up for once a month or more!
Ideas include entrepreneurship, cooking, leadership, careers, college prep, finances, insurance, personal success stories, and anything in between. Our goal is to positively impact the lives of the young people we serve and help prepare them for adulthood.
